The Brick Yard

The Brick Yard incorporates an environmental and community sensitive landscape plan with careful recognition of the history and importance of the contributions made for the last 100 years by the Washington Brick Company and others. Although the clay pits are no longer being mined and the fire of the kilns no longer bake the shields to protect our homes and offices, the history will continue with the rebirth of this community of an office and light industrial park.

As homage to the heritage of this extraordinary infill site, distinctive brick building features will highlight the rich history of the area. The combination of the tradition of the craftsmanship with the skill of the tradesman will continue as new enterprises emerge to work and create this new development.
